Talking Therapy for Individuals

Jo Fyfe Counselling

People come to counselling for many reasons. Sometimes life can be overwhelming due to stress at work, relationships, changing circumstances, or emotional upheaval. You may have been feeling anxious for a long time, have unwanted thoughts and feelings, or simply don't know exactly what the problem is - you just know that somehow you've lost your way.

I offer an open and honest working relationship. I really listen to what you say so I can understand what life looks like from your point of view. My approach will give you space where you can be heard without fear of judgement to help you form a deeper understanding of your problems and ultimately find ways you can begin to help yourself.

Amongst other things, I can help with:

abuse : addiction : affairs : betrayals : anger management : bereavement : relationship problems : depression: low self-esteem : sexual abuse : childhood trauma : social anxiety : work-related stress

  • Sessions are always confidential and can take place online, over the phone or face-to-face in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire .

  • The first session is space for you to tell me your needs and concerns and what you would like to gain from counselling as well as an opportunity to see if we can work together.

  • Typically sessions last for 50 minutes and usually take place weekly.

  • I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to the BACP ethical framework and guidelines.
